Balochistan Assembly passes resolution against smuggling

QUETTA, Nov 10 (APP): The lawmakers in the session of Balochistan
Assembly passed a resolution unanimously, seeking effective and immediate measures to control drug smuggling.
The assembly session was held with Speaker, Ms. Raheela Hameed Khan
Durrani in chair here on Thursday.
Pashtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party, MPA, Abdul Majeed Achakzai tabled
the resolution which reads that some of youth in the society had been addicted to narcotics. "Career of our youth has been on the bank of devastation due to drug addiction," it said. It emphasized the need to take stern action to stop drug smuggling.
The resolution said Anti-Narcotics Force should be made more
effective to control smuggling of narcotics.
The resolution demanded of the provincial government to approach the
federal government for taking immediate and effective measures to control drug smuggling.
The chair put the resolution to the house which passed it unanimously.
