ORMARA Jan 7 (PPI): Out country no doubt is a great country. This is the reason world has focused its eyes on us. Government, Armed forces and nation were facing several challenges at a time and we have to come out with success. We have to fight against terrorism, extremism, sectarianism, illiteracy and all prejudices and face all internal and external conspiracies.
These views were expressed by Balochistan chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri while addressing first parents day of Cadet College Ormara Saturday.
Ormara is tiny town along Balochistan coast between Gwadar and Hub along Mekran Coastal Highway.
Balochistan Chief Secretary Saifullah Chatha, Commander Coast Vice Admiral Waseem Akram, Principal Cadet College Commodore Masoodul Hassan, elites of the area. Tribal elders students and large number of parents were also present.
Upon arrival at the College Chief Minister was accorded warm welcome by cadets and presented PT show and physical training demonstration.
Chief Minister said in the wake of CPEC importance and responsibility of the College has increased because it would meet manpower equipped with educational and technical skills. He said he understands that usefulness of CPEC is possible only when we equip our younger generation with education because it is only mean to our national development.
He said Alhamdulillah Balochistan has marched on road to progress. Construction of Gwadar Port and CPEC project and several other projects have started development work and doors of employment are opening. We are ready to benefit from these opportunities and the day is not far away when this area would be prosperous like other developed parts of Pakistan.
He told Students they were future of Balochistan and Pakistan such a bright future dream of which were being seen by their parents and we all. It is their duty to pay full attention on their education and take benefit form facilities being provided to them so that they could play their role in the development of country and province as a responsible citizen and patriotic Pakistani.
He said Holy Prophet (PBUH) says Knowledge is my weapon and history is witness that nations who used education as weapon got high status.
During his visit to Balochistan Quaid e Azam had also stated “education is more powerful than sword so pay attention on acquiring education.â€
He thanked Pakistan Navy and notables of Ormara with whose cooperation and support Cadet College was established.
He welcomed parents arrived from different parts of Pakistan who sent their children for acquiring education by expressing confidence in our institution. He also paid tributes to College Principal and teachers who were striving to spread light of education at this far flung coastal area.
He announced Rupees 500 million for the College and Rupees 3 million for cadets presenting PT show. He also assured every possible cooperation of the government for development of the college.
He also distributed prizes among cadets for their performance.
