Notification on new delimitation of constituencies in Sindh issued

KARACHI, Sept 28 (Online): Notification on delimitation of constituencies in Sindh has been issued.
As per notification delimitation of constituencies process will be carried out at union council, union committee, municipal committee, municipal corporation and metropolitan corporation level while no change will be made in the limits of Deh, Tappal, circle, tehsil and district.
Union council will consist of population ranging between 15000 to 30000 persons while town committee population will range between 30000 to 50000 persons.
The population of Municipal committee has been fixed from 50000 to 300000 persons. Municipal Corporation will cover population from 300,000 to 3500000.
