Anjuman Tajiran announces shutter down, protest demonstrations

QUETTA May 7 (PPI): Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Balochistan has announced shutter down strike and protest demonstration in Quetta on May 12 against demolishing Mutton market.
Announcement was made by President Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Balochistan Rahim Kakar and others while addressing a protest demonstration at Meezan Chowk here Sunday.
Participants carried placards inscribed with their demands.
Speakers said that Mayor and Deputy Mayor had sealed mutton market sometime ago in dark of night and rendered dozens of shopkeepers jobless. Businessmen of mutton market and Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Balochistan held peaceful protest and approached High Court. Court had ordered Metropolitan Corporation administration to find solution of the issue with shopkeeper of mutton market but they failed to do so. After lapse of one year mutton market affectees have setup protest camp at Meezan chowk. They were staging peaceful protest but last night administration under the cover of dark demolished the market. Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Balochistan strongly condemns this act.
They said Anjuman would not leave affectees alone in any case.
