CM Balochistan discuss CPEC, Gwadar Port security issues with Naval Chief

ISLAMABAD, April 11 (INP): Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi at Naval Headquarters Islamabad on Wednesday.

During the meeting of Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo with Naval Chief, matters of mutual interest including security of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Gwadar Port were dilated upon.

Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi briefed the Chief Minister regarding effective measures PN has taken for the security of Gwadar Port and its seaward approaches. The Naval Chief also highlighted PN’s initiatives and contributions for socio-economic uplift of Baloch populace residing along the Makran Coastal belt.

Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo appreciated the role of PN towards protection of CPEC and Gwadar port projects and acknowledged PN contributions for socio-economic uplift of Balochistan’s coastal area populace.
