Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch to stay in Awaran

AWARAN Sep 28 (PPI): Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said he would stay in Awaran till rehabilitation of all affectees.
Speaking to different delegations here Chief Minister said both federal and provincial government would extend every possible assistance to earthquake hit people. He said kutcha houses destroyed in earthquake would be provided pucca houses and till construction of houses people will be provided temporary shelter. He said food and medical aid to the affectees would be ensured. He aid he was personally supervising the relief activities.
Addressing district officers in Awaran Chief Minister urged them to ensure their presence in their areas. He said all the departments should work with spirit and dedication so that their brethren could be extended full assistance.
Resident Engineer QESCO Gohram Gichki in a briefing told Chief Minister that according to his orders electricity supply was being made round the clock in Awaran. But generators are needed for this process. Chief Minister ordered for immediate purchase of four generators of 400 kv.
In his meeting with NGOs working in affected areas Dr Malik Baloch said that they should be allowed to work without NoC from PDMA. He stressed them to serve earthquake hit people selflessly.
Chief Minister also visited affected area and asked problems of affectees. He also condoled deaths with relatives of those killed and said they should exercise patience during this hour of difficulty. It is natural calamity and it should be faced with courage.
