Navy's relief operation in Balochistan underway

KARACHI, Sept 30 (Online): Pakistan Navy is utilizing all its resources for swift provision of relief and rescue support to Balochistan's earthquake affectees.
According to a press release issued in Karachi Monday‚ in addition to the 4‚000 kg relief goods already dispatched via PN Fokker and helicopters‚ approximately 4‚500 kg of relief goods were dispatched through 2 additional sorties of PN Fokker during last two days.
The relief goods contain dry ration‚ medicines‚ drinking water and more than 200 family sized tents. PN helicopters are still carrying out rescue operations and pulling out dead and injured people of the quake hit areas.
The injured are transported to the PN Hospitals at Ormara and Karachi for better medical treatment.
