CM asks NGOs to work any where in Balochistan

AWARAN Sep 30 (PPI): Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has asked NGOs to work any where in earthquake hit areas of the province. They would be provided complete security.
He was speaking to Newsmen here Monday.
He said Government of Balochistan stands with earthquake affectees at this difficult time. He aid he was supervising relief activities by remaining in Awaran. He said NGOs from within Pakistan and outside would be provided complete security.
Earlier he visited District Headquarters hospital where he enquired about the health of injured persons. He directed doctors and medical staff to provide every possible facility to the injured patients.
Representatives of 22 NGOs from different parts of the country also held a meeting with Chief Minister. They apprised him of relief activities being carried out by their respective NGOs. He assured them they would be provided complete security wherever they would work in earthquake hit areas of the province.
Meanwhile relief activities by Federal and provincial governments were underway for the assistance of earthquake affected people in the province. After rescue phase rehabilitation and relief activities of affectees were underway in a coordinated manner. All organisations are fully active to provide tents, food items and medicines to affectees. Pakistan Army, FC, NDMA teams were engaged in relief activities at large scale in affected areas.
Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has constituted a Committee headed by Deputy Commissioner Awaran which would take measures to meet needs of affectees and provide them assistance.
