Ex-army officer, two daughters murdered in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi, Oct 1 (Online): Unknown killers have murdered a family including parents and two daughters in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, officials said on Tuesday.
The family head, Sikandar, has been identified as former army officer working in a private medical university and hospital presently.
Police said the bodies of Brig. (retd) Dr. Sikandar Malik, his wife Shahida, two daughters Fatima and Zenab were found in their house located in Rawalpindi’s Gulistan Colony within the remits of Morgah police station.
Officials said all the deceased were shot dead; however, motives behind the mysterious murders could not be ascertained immediately.
Police cordoned off the area and collected evidences from the site.
Son of the slain Sikandar Haider Ali, however, was found alive by the law enforcement agencies.
