Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to sight Zilhaj moon on 6 Oct

KARACHI, 01Oct (Online): Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to meet in Karachi on 06th Oct for Zilhaj moon sighting.
Astronomers have expressed the strong possibility of simultaneous sighting of moon
In Middle Eastern and most of Asian states.
Astronomers have also expressed that birth of Zilhaj moon would (could) be sighted in Pakistan on 06th Oct, at 0535 hrs, while with only 44 hours of presence; it would not be visible in any other part of the world, except some Asian states, assuring Eid-ul -Azha on 17th Oct.
SUPARCO (Pakistan Space Upper Atmosphere Research Commission) and MET have also expressed the possibility of moon’s appearance on 06th Oct , yet Ruet-e-Hilal committee , backed by more than 40 experts from Navy ,SUPARCO and observatories would be having a final say on the issue.
Meanwhile MET has predicted a clear horizon in and around Sindh and Balochistan as compared to a cloudy forecast for upper regions of Pakistan.
