Four ANP workers among nine arrested in Karachi

KARACHI Oct 4 (Online): Police and Rangers personnel have arrested nine suspected criminals during targeted action in the metropolis on Friday.
According to Rangers spokesman, four suspects linked with Awami National Party (ANP) were arrested from Quaidabad area. They are wanted in target killings and extortion cases.
More raids are being conducted in the areas to arrest their accomplices, the spokesman said.
On the other hand, police arrested a suspected from Block-11 of Gulistan-e-Johar. One TT pistol and motorcycle was confiscated from him.
Police said that suspect had murdered a security guard on Thursday.
Separately, two suspects were arrested from DHA Khayaban-e-Tanzeem area.
According to police, the suspects are involved in more than twenty street crime cases in Clifton and DHA.
